BEDROOM DECOR – AUTUM VIBES

Categories: Nordic Interior, Scandinavian

Autumn is finally here! And what doesn’t sound better than updating the bedroom with some new details to maximize the autumn coziness? We go towards darker times and cooler weather. We spend more and more time at home in the bed, so it may be nice to cheer up with some new interior details that make the home feel cozy and welcoming.

But don’t worry – just because a new season is here doesn’t mean that you need to buy totally new furniture. Small updated details can make a lot for the room. Here’s my top 10 favorite items right now to make the bedroom autumn-ready!

1. Duvet cover, Granit

Well, OF COURSE, you need a new duvet cover. And make it a little more autumn-inspired with darker, duller tones.

8. Green plants

Now, it doesn’t have to be a ‘monstera’. But when the trees change color outdoors, it’s time to surround yourself with green plants indoors. Green plants improve the air and make you happier.

9. Scented candles, H&M Home

Finally, we can take out our scented candles! Choose a candle with a pretty jar that can become an interesting touch to the room.

How would you describe your home now apart from the Nordic/Scandinavian influence?

I think that I have a quite unique style that stands out from other Nordic feeds. My home is a mix of the industrial and modern, but with a touch of bohemian. I'm not afraid to use colours or greens, to create a personal contrast.

I re-use A LOT (So called DIY’s) and this is very popular amongst my followers. In these times, we need to learn to re-use our interior and not always buy new stuff.

What you love about Nordic/Scandinavian design?

I do like that the Nordic/Scandinavian design is simple and clean. We love to use grey and white, which I really do too. My home is a little up twisted and I love to add some personal colours to it. I also love the re-use of materials such as different types of wood and leather
