Do you hear those jingle bells already? Christmas is getting closer and you’re feeling stressed? That
happens to me every time and a few years ago I came up with a thought of having a nice and quiet
evening just by myself. It’s like a pre-Christmas and what’s best, without the hazzle.
Here are some effortless ways to maximize your relaxing indoor enjoyment this season.
#1 “Netflix and Chill”
There is a great selection of seasonal movies on Netflix, Viaplay etc. I just love “Gilmore Girls: A Year in
the Life” but this year I’m watching Christmas episodes on “Friends”(usually 10th episode of the season).
#2 Get warmed up with Christmas drinks
What a perfect way to start the festive season. Get in the Christmas spirit with this easy drink:
Bring to boil 7 dl apple juice, 4 cinnamon sticks, 4 whole cardamoms, and 4-star anise. Remove from
heat and allow to steep overnight.
Pour in 3 dl white wine. Place over medium-high heat and cook until hot but not simmering. Serve warm
in a mug with some sliced ginger. ( I feel warm and cozy already 🙂 )
#3 Snuggle in on a movie night with delicious White Chocolate Popcorn
Transform plain popcorn into a crispy chocolate treat. I just do this in the micro-oven. Pop the popcorn,
cover with melted white chocolate and allow to cool to room temperature. Easy peasy!
#4 Just have candles on
Candles are a wonderful way to bring a cozy atmosphere to your home. Set the scene by lighting candles
around the room.
#5 Get cozy with your best and fluffiest blankets
This year I’m cozying up on the couch with beautiful pompom blanket from Barong Butik
I wish you a wonderful Holiday Season.
